Installation

VizMini2 runs on Android 8.0 or newer (phones and tablets). It is not on Google Play yet: you install it from an APK file.

1. Download the latest VizMini2.apk shared by the project.

2. Open it on the phone. If Android asks, allow installing apps from that source (your browser or file manager).

3. Open VizMini2. You will see the sign-in screen.

Note

Your phone and your robot must be on the same network (or reachable through a VPN or a Discovery Server) for the app to see the robot. The demo works anywhere: it never leaves the phone.

Updating

When there is a new version, the app tells you when you open it and brings you to this page. Download the APK from the same link and install it over the one you have: your session, tabs and settings are kept. If a version is ever required (for example, for security), the app won’t let you continue until you update.
