Your account

An account lets you connect to your real robots and keeps your robot profiles in the cloud.

Sign up

1. On the sign-in screen tap Create an account.

2. Fill in First name, Last name, Email, and the Password twice (6 characters or more).

3. Open the email we send you and tap the verification link (look in spam too).

4. Sign in with your email and password.

That’s it: new accounts start with the Basic role (RViz, Camera and Teleop). An administrator can give you more.

Sign in with Google, Microsoft or GitHub

On the sign-in screen (or the sign-up screen) tap Continue with Google, Continue with Microsoft or Continue with GitHub and pick your account. The first time, your VizMini2 account is created with that account’s name and email; no password or email check needed.

If you already had an account with the same email, the app tells you: sign in the way you did the first time and link the new method from Home.

Link sign-in methods

On Home, in the card with your email, you’ll see your Sign-in methods. Tap Link next to Google, Microsoft or GitHub to also sign in with it to the same account, with the same profiles. Unlink removes it (you always keep at least one).

Forgot your password?

On the sign-in screen tap Forgot password? and enter your email: you’ll get a link to choose a new one.

Without an internet connection

Once signed in, you can open the app and use your robots without internet, for example connected only to the robot’s Wi-Fi. Every so often the app will ask you to connect to the internet for a moment to check your account (you don’t need to type your password again); after that you can carry on offline. Signing in for the first time does need internet.
